How to Combat IT Burnout with a Remote Workforce feat. Chime, Boxed and Electric

Last month, Electric conducted a survey of 138 IT professionals to discover the impact remote work is having on them since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic. At a high level, the results indicate the majority of IT professionals are left feeling burnt out as a result of working longer hours, having smaller budgets, receiving more helpdesk tickets from employees, and taking less PTO than they would have in years prior.

And we’re definitely not the only ones taking notice of pandemic-related burnout and the impact it’s having on the workforce. From Forbes to Harvard Business Review, burnout is a burning hot topic — and with IT professionals bearing the brunt of the remote work shift at many organizations, IT management at SMBs have had to implement tactics to help combat it.
